Fraud Prevention

Visa USA Fraud Control recently reported that millions of credit card numbers were compromised by a security breach at a company that processes transactions for merchants.
As an issuer of the Visa credit cards, it is our responsibility to determine the best action to take to secure your interest and protect the credit union from loss.
Our policy has been to contact the member and advise them that we will block the card and re-issue another.
Visa has "zero-liability" policies in place which protect members from fraudulent use of their cards.
If your credit or debit card is lost or stolen or you notice unauthorized activity on your statement, it is your responsibility to notify Visa or call the credit union immediately.
